Primary Spontaneous Pneumothorax In A Young Male Patient Mimicking Dextrocardia | Dextrocardia is a rare clinical condition and usually accompanies with additional cardiac anomalies and ciliary dyskinesia syndromes. Intrathoracic space occupying pathologies can cause pseudodextrocardia. Herein we present a patient with pseudodextrocardia secondary to pneumothorax. Dextrocardia defines rightly positioned heart and its incidence ranges between 1/8,000 – 1/25,000. Patients with dextrocardia are classified into situs solitus, situs inversus and situs ambiguous according to the positioning of the visceral organs. Dextrocardia usually presents with additional cardiac anomalies especially in patients with situs solitus [1]. Pseudodextrocardia is a clinical condition that heart is dextroposed secondary to intrathoracic space occupying pathologies. There are two cases with pseudodextrocrdia in the literature one of which is due to bronchectasia and the other one ise due to diaphragmatic hernia [2,3]. Herein we present a young male patient with pseudodextrocardia due to spontaneous pneumothorax. For More Articles: Biomedical Journal Impact Factor : https://biomedres.us/

Analysis of Medication Errors in Provincial Hospital | Drug is a key factor in patient safety events [1]. Medication errors (MEs) mean that may occur in the drug application, usually occur in the drug prescription, distribution, packaging, product labeling, dispensing, using and monitoring. Medication errors which are objective existence occur as a result of personal factors and/or system performance deficits [2,3]. The Pharmacy Administration Management Regulations of Medical Institutions (PAMRMI) definition of a medication error in China is as follows: “Any preventable event that may cause or lead to inappropriate medication use occurs in clinical medication.” People usually focus on responsibility or punishment of physicians and pharmacists in the domestic medical related environment [4,5], while they don’t attach great importance to the analysis of medication errors and don’t develop the necessary measures to prevent the medication errors. People are used to hide problems, underreport and avoid responsibility, which makes medical safety somehow dangerous. For More Articles: Biomedical Journal Articles : https://biomedres.us/

Not All Calories in Foods are the same | The title of this work is worth discussion and research, perhaps with a conference for multidisciplinary professionals in mind. For an engineer or a physical scientist not trained in the biological sciences, it may come across as a statement that defies the definitions of science. The title may come through more as a marketing statement, to draw readers to the article. It may also cause confusion among the general population. That foods come in at least 5 broad categories, viz. fruits, vegetables, carbohydrates, proteins and fats, may give a hint that there is real substance in the statement. A mini literature review is made on the subject matter. A few deductions about venturing out of the recommendations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) are made that could be useful for weight loss purposes. Surgical Management of Ectopic Third Molar in theMandibular Sub condylar Region without a PathologicalCause: A Case Report | Ectopic eruption of mandibular third molar in the subcondylar region is an extremely rare condition. The impacted tooth can remain asymptomatic throughout life time and intervention would only be required in cases of pain, signs of infection, inflammation or cyst formation. In our case a 35 year old man presented with dull continuous pain in left side of face near preauricular area. A radiographic examination revealed an impacted ectopic third molar in left subcondylar region with a radiolucency surrounding the crown. The tooth was surgically removed by an intraoral approach through a bone tunnel made on the buccal surface inferior to sigmoid notch. Inadvertently left subcondylar region fractured during the procedure and intermaxillary fixation was done with Erich arch bar. The treatment should be meticulously planned on the basis of the position and type of the ectopic tooth and related potential trauma against the benefits of surgical intervention. Novel Distribution of HCV genotypes and their Main Routs of Infection in the Punjab Pakistan | Hepatitis C is rapidly emerging as a major health problem in developing countries including Pakistan that leads to death and morbidities. HCV has a high genetic variation and is classified into six major genotypes and 67 subtypes. (Direct-Acting-Antiviral) anti-HCV drugs therapy response, resistance and recovery rates depend on HCV genotype. To study the epidemiological study of HCV genotypes in 2015-16 and their main routs of infection in the Punjab Pakistan. Observational study of the patients from 27 centers, 4823 samples was collected from HCV positive patients. History was noted on pre-design tested questioner which was approved by institutional Ethical committee. RNA was extracted using Favorgen Viral Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit. Amplification was performed using Amplisense Genotyping kit. We studied source of infection and therapeutic responses of varies genotypes on the basis of geographical distribution; we found a new incitement and provoke.
