Endodontic Therapy of Maxillary Third Molar with Supernumerary Root with Four Root Canals-A Rare Case | Success of endodontic therapy is multi factorial. Starting from good case selection, proper treatment, thorough cleaning and shaping, fluid tight obturation and good seal achieved by post endodontic restoration. One of the reasons for failure of root canal therapy is complex internal anatomy of the teeth which is non-negotiable through orthograde approach. Thorough knowledge of the internal anatomy and its variations is very important to provide the best treatment for the patient. Clinician has to face challenges if there are fused canals, calcified canals, Radix entomolaris, taurodontism and most commonly presence of additional canals. Maxillary third molar is one such tooth where root canal therapy is very difficult to perform not only because of its location in the arch but also due to its varied internal anatomy. The present paper describes variation in the internal anatomy of a maxillary 3rd molar with additional canal and also the importance of magnification in endodontic. Determinants of Satisfaction with Training Process among Final Year Nursing Students at Kenya Medical Training College | Heart Failure with reduced Ejection Fraction (EF) is likely itself a heterogeneous entity within the same complex clinical syndrome. The relative contribution of various risk factors and etiological conditions involved in the development of heart failure with Midrange (HFmrEF) and Reduced Ejection Fraction (HFrEF) in the Caribbean population is unknown. We aimed to determine the impact of cardiac risk factors and etiological conditions associated with reduced EF and identify common and distinctive risk profiles between HFmrEF vs HFrEF in a series of cases of Afro-Caribbean population with heart failure. Determinants of Satisfaction with Training Process among Final Year Nursing Students at Kenya Medical Training College | Student satisfaction is defined as meeting or exceeding the student’s expectations of campus reality [1]. Although the requirements of nurse training courses are largely fulfilled when the system produces competent nurses and satisfies the standards of the consumers and regulators of health care, students’ opinion on their training cannot be ignored if improvements in the quality of training and customer satisfaction are to be achieved [2]. There is a wider acknowledgement that the totality of a student experience of an institution is a useful perspective to adopt in student satisfaction and marketing of the institution [3]. Students in Kenya Medical Training College are regarded as valuable customers and hence their satisfaction with services during training is very important if the College is to remain relevant in the training of health care providers. Student’s satisfaction can be an important quality indicator with respect to teaching and learning. This study was done to determine the factors that influenced satisfaction of student nurses with the training process. This will ultimately impact positively on nursing care delivery to patients and clients since satisfied students are more likely to be successful and dedicated to accomplish their goals than unsatisfied students. Retention of Probase Hot Versus the Conventional Heat-Cured Acrylic Resin Denture Bases | This study compared the retention of proBase hot versus a conventional heat-cured acrylic resin denture bases. Two completely edentulous patients of U-shaped and V-shaped palatine vault. Primary and secondary impressions of the maxillary arch were done to produce two master casts. Each master cast was duplicated into twenty-one stone casts using duplicating hydrocolloid. Standardized maxillary waxed denture bases were produced by duplication using silicone impression material. Twenty-one standardized denture bases for each tested (U- and V- shaped) maxillary arches were obtained. Stainless steel wire loops were placed at a vertical direction in the marked center of each waxed denture base for dislodging each acrylic denture base from its basal seat to measure its retention. Fourteen waxed denture bases constructed for each of U- and V-shaped palatal vault were processed into conventional heat cured acrylic, while the other seven waxed denture bases were processed into ProBase Hot denture bases as recommended by the manufacturer. A digital force meter was used for retention measurement. The results indicated a significant differences between the tested materials and the two arch forms. ProBase Hot showed the highest retention than that of the conventional acrylic resin (Acrostone) either long- curing or short-curing method. Female Breast Cancer: Socio-Demographic, Lifestyle, and Clinical Risk Factors – A Hospital-Based Study in Two Egyptian Governorates | Breast cancer in is the commonest and number one cancer among females in Egypt. Female breast cancer (FBC) has many preventable risk factors. This study was conducted on sample of 400 FBC patients. The patients were recruited from two hospitals of Al- Azhar University in Cairo and Assiut governorates. A case-control study design was used; the patients and controls were subjected for interview for history taking. Odds ratio was used to detect the risk factors. Significant socio-demographic risk factors were high social, educational, and occupational levels (OR=1.92, 1.69, 1.95; respectively). Significant gynecological risk factors were age at menarche <13, menopause ≥50, and menstrual period ≥40 year (OR=1.49, 1.62, 2.09; respectively). Significant reproductive risk factors were never married, first full term pregnancy at age ≥35, and no breast-feeding (OR=2.7, 2.97, 2.64; respectively). Family history of FBC, the maternal/paternal grandmother and the aunts, sister, and mother were significant risk factors (OR=5.23, 6.68, 5.1, 4.45; respectively). Significant clinical risk factors were history of benign breast disease, heights ≥160 cm, and exposure to environmental factors (OR=5.14, 1.86, 4.94; respectively). Bi-Directional Interaction between Systemic Botrytis Cinerea, and Aphid Myzus Persicae on Lettuce Plant | Bi-directional interaction between economically important fungal pathogen Botrytis cinerea and aphid Myzus persicea causes serious economic losses to the crop plants resulting in loss of both time and money spend. In bi-direction interaction the fungal pathogen and insect herbivores, can both interact directly with the plant and interact indirectly with each other as they struggle to compete for the resources of the plant. We investigated the bi-directional interaction between the necrotrophic and economically important fungal pathogen Botrytis cinerea Pers Fr (Helotiales Sclerotiniaceae) and the aphid Myzus persicae (Hemiptera Aphididae) on plant host, lettuce Lactuca sativa (Asteraceae: Compositae). Botrytis cinerea on host plant causes a brownish discoloration of the leaf petiole accompanied by the rotting of the leaves, however, presence of aphids on lettuce plants causes’ economic damage directly through injury and indirectly through virus transmission, resulting in wilting and head contamination. Nasopalatine Cyst: A Silent Growing Lesion | The nasopalatine cyst (NPC) is a non-odontogenic cyst, it occurs mainly in adult patients in some cases can bring difficulties to the diagnostic due to its silent growing. We are going to present in this paper report case in a 10-year child emphasizing the histophatological characteristics and the findings in obtained images by Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). The nasopalatine cyst (NPC) represents from 38 to 43.66% of the non-odontogenic cysts, followed by oral lympho epithelial cyst and epidermoid cyst. This cyst wound still represents about 1.87 to 10% of the jaw cysts. With major frequency in men, between the fourth and sixth decades [1-3].This non-odontogenic cyst is labeled as a development cyst, and its pathogenesis are not clear described yet, are believed to arise from the remnants of nasopalatine ducts in the incisive canal [4]. Spontaneous Kidney Bleed after Acute Coronary Syndrome Treatment | Spontaneous kidney bleed is a rare condition. Renal tumors are the most common cause of bleeding whereas anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy are some of the less common causes. We present a case of a 72 year old male patient with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), who developed massive painless hematuria after ACS treatment. He was found to have spontaneous right pelvical iceal bleed by computed tomography (CT). The patient was successfully treated conservatively. Spontaneous kidney bleed is a diagnostic dilemma. It is a rare condition in clinical practice. Although lots of research has been done in this subject, still it remains elusive. The most common cause of bleeding are benign and malignant renal tumors, especially angiomyolipomas and renal cell carcinoma. CRISPR Technology Challenge Facing the Numerical Integrity of Whole Human Genome DNA | Global analysis of 3 human genomes of increasing levels of evolution (Neanderthal /Sapiens Build34 / Sapiens hg38) reveals 2 levels of numerical constraints controlling, structuring and optimizing these genome’s DNA sequences. A global constraint – called “HGO” for “Human Genome Optimum” – optimizes the genome at its global scale. The same operator applied to each of the 24 individual chromosomes reveals a hierarchical structure of these 24 chromosomes. Then analysing the single strand DNA CG / TA proportions at whole chromosomes and genome scale reveals strong fine-tuned numerical ratios evidencing the “closure” nature (Varela’s autopoiesis theory) of whole human genome.
