Biomedical Journal of Scientific & Technical Research (BJSTR) is a multidisciplinary, scholarly Open Access publisher focused on Genetic, Biomedical and Remedial missions in relation with Technical Knowledge as well.
Using Music Therapy in (Re) Habilitation of Prelingual Deaf Cochlear Implant Children | The efficacy of music therapy in management of various communicative disorders, (including hearing impairment) is well established, still there is no available and documented schedule for rehabilitation of hearing impaired children with the help of music intonation therapy in Arabic language. The exact role of music therapy is not yet validated on Arabic speaking children having hearing impairment. For More: Scientific Research Articles on Biomedical : https://biomedres.us/
Puberty Induced Gingival Enlargement | Gingival hyperplasia is an atypical increase in the number of healthy cells in normal arrangement in a tissue. Gingival hyperplasia can be the result of unusual tissue response to the inflammation caused by local irritants, such as plaque and calculus; systemic disturbances, such as hormonal changes; or medications specifically cyclosporine, nifedipine and phenytoin. 45year Old Male Patient with Chest Pain | Chronic pulmonary emboli are mostly as a partial resolution of acute pulmonary thromboembolismX-ray chest frontal projection. X-ray chest Frontal projection: Enlarged both hila, more on left side and right infra hilar soft tissue opacity. Otherwise lung fields are clear with clear costophrenic angles. Heart size not enlarged. CT chest with contrast recommended for better evaluation and characterization. Ct with contrast reveals: Axial Images with coronal and sagittal reconstruction with soft tissue and bone window. Diffuse eccentric thickening of bilateral main pulmonary artery of the initial surface, more on right side (post stenotic dilatation) which extends to major lower lobar (inferior) pulmonary arteries, more on right side with luminal narrowing of right main pulmonary artery with patent lumen on both sides. No acute thrombosis. For More: Biomedical Journals Publishers : https://biomedres.us/

The Use of Scan Pet for Lung Cancer | Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer death in Western countries, and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for 80% of these neoplasms. Despite the efforts in the early diagnosis and advances in the treatment of these patients, overall survival remains very low, approximately 18% at 5 years2. The relatively low (30-50%) survival of patients with limited, potentially curable disease probably reflects the inability to detect advanced disease at initial staging. The stage of the disease is considered the most important prognostic factor and determines the therapeutic options. It is therefore crucial to perform a correct initial staging for the administration of an appropriate treatment, avoiding unnecessary surgeries. In this sense, the identification of contralateral mediastinal lymphatic involvement and distant metastasis is particularly relevant, since it classifies patients as stages IIIB and IV, excluding them from a curative treatment. Eating Disorders- Anorexia Nervosa | To provide deeper & novel perspective about Anorexia Nervosa, as an Eating Disorder. Other than focusing on book-based explanations on symptoms & treatments, to be able to get the picture of the mental disorder from the sufferers’ eyes… A disorder most often seen in adolescent females characterized by a refusal to maintain minimally normal body weight, intense fear of gaining weight, disturbance in body image, development of amenorrhea in postmenarcheal females. Body weight is maintained at least 15% below that expected (either lost or never achieved), or Body Mass Index (BMI) is 17.5 or less. Personalized Individual Parent Training (PIPT) Parenting Intervention | Parent training is the treatment of choice for children with oppositional problems and known to be very effective for reducing behavioural problems. It also increases sensitive responding the primary mechanism for increasing secure attachments and improving child-carer relations. Individual-based parent-training/education programmes are recommended in the management of children with conduct disorders only in situations where there are particular difficulties in engaging with the parents or a family’s needs are too complex to be met by group-based parent-training/education programme. Microbiota is “the ecological community of commensal, symbiotic and pathogenic micro organisms that literally share our body space”. All of the bacteria that live inside the human gastrointestinal tract are referred to as the “microbiota”. The intestinal microbiota consists of more than 1000 species. The healthy microbiota has many functions within the gut(mainly in thecolon) as protecting against pathogens, participating in the intake of dietary nutrients, metabolizing certain drugs and carcinogens, influencing the absorption and distribution of fat, synthesis of certain vitamins [1]. Imbalances in the composition of this microbiota can cause intestinal dysfunctions with dysbiosis and chronic disease states. The discovery of antibiotics in the early 20th century had an enormous impact on modern medicine, dramatically reduced mortality associated with infections. However, the emergence of drug – resistant pathogens has occurred due to greater availability and inappropriate use of antibiotics in healthcare and agriculture and has become a global health concern. The major objective of this article is to demonstrate artistically the concept of energy in its different forms. Energy is defined as “the capacity of a physical system to perform work” such as to move an object of a given mass by the application of force. The word energy derives from the Greek word energeia and appearedfor the first time in the work of Aristotle in the 4th century BC where Gottfried Leibniz (1646-1716), German philosopher and mathematician, defined it as the product of the mass of an object and its velocity squared, namely mv2. It was Gaspard-Gustave Coriolis (1792- 1843), French mathematician, mechanical engineer and scientist, who described “kinetic energy” in 1829 in its modern form, 0.5mv2, where in 1853 the Scottish engineer and physicist William Rankine (1820-1872) coined the term “potential energy.” In the following, definitions taken from the Internet of the different kinds of energy are detailed. It should be noted that in some cases there are more than one definition for a certain kind of energy and the one selected was that which best fitted its artwork. A mini review has been performed regarding the causes of autism. There are genetic factors and environmental factors. With the objective of helping parents of autistic children, this work has presented many categories of foods which could help lessen autistic symptoms. There are also some types of foods which should be avoided; these include gluten, casein, soy, and refined sugar. Regular and proper exercise for the autistic children is fundamental, as it is for all humans. It is best to do one’s best for the nutrition of children with autism, as well as to encourage them with a regimen of proper physical exercise. For More: Biomedical Science Articles
The present work was carried out to analyze the physicochemical parameters of fixed oils of Cinnamonum zeylanicum. The oil was extracted from freshly bark of Cinnamonum zeylanicum with petroleum ether using Soxhlet apparatus. Cinnamonum zeylanicum bark possessed (47.39%) yield of absolute oil. The relative density of the fixed oil was found to be 0.96. The Physico-chemical properties of the extracted oil like Richter Meissel value (2.55 ± 0.01), Saponification value (84.15 ± 0.01), Iodine value (16.11 ± 0.02), Acid value (38.14 ± 0.05), Ester value (46.01 ± 0.08), Peroxide value (10.3 ± 0.08) and un-saponification value of (21.00 ±0.03) was determined.
